Plant-based foods tend to have an image of not tasting great, but more authentic and delicious meals are starting to appear and Eat Art deals with such food. We interviewed Ryoya Takashima, who is involved in menu development.
"With the concept of incorporating natural foods in your daily life , we have been distributing plant-based recipe videos on YouTube from around 2010, thinking that we can significantly reduce the environmental burden and reduce medical expenses if we eat a lot of vegetables and become healthy. It was based on my own eating habits that I have been doing for about 15 years. "
Peaceful Queen, a YouTube channel that introduces vegan recipes that has been in operation for over 10 years, has 2.43 million subscribers and is one of the most popular vegan recipe channels in Asia.
A study from Oxford University reports that spreading vegans worldwide and reducing meat consumption, it can save more than 8 million lives by 2050 by and reducing greenhouse gases by two-thirds.
He also told us about the plant-based curry that Mr. Takashima worked on.
"There are five types of curry, with the base being coconut, eggplant and tomato, spinach and chickpeas, beets or Japanese style. There is a common dish called meals in South India, where you mix a variety of curry over a banana leaf, which is how I recommend eating. I personally like South Indian food very much and I use a lot of whole spices.
Curry is made from carefully selected organic materials. In Eat Art, it is sold under the name Tacurry, which means delicious and fragrant Hindi. If you eat it with rice or chapati, you will feel like you have traveled to India while you are in Japan, and curry with plenty of vegetables seems like a good idea for your body.
